CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION

The Background
A learning in class can walk with good if in doing 3P (preparation, planning, and the implementation of) implemented with ripe. The third stage was done to prepare the administration of learning, learning the media, and apply them in learning in class, teachers need to draw up a device of learning that is the administration of learning. The device is consisting of learning syllabus, learning plan, the program of the semester, the annual program, etc. The media, an instrument, and material needs to be prepared carefully to bridge the material that students will be studied. Selected media should comply with the material is taught and able to attract students to learn. After all that has been well prepared and learning ready to be implemented.
On the implementation stage of learning usually found nonconformity to the expected. This may happen if the teachers less to ripen the stage of preparation and planning. The teachers usually just ripen the implementation stage only. In fact, the implementation of learning can work both because of the preparation and planning as well. Actually all these things can be corrected before learning implemented through the improvement of learning devices.
Therefore, we carry out the observation in elementary school. This observation is important for us to know the real lesson in the field. An observation made in elementary schools  Adisucipto 2.
The Problem Formula
1.      How learning mathematics implemented in the classroom?
2.      How the design of the implementation of learning that has been implemented?
3.      What the problems arising in learning?


The Purpose
1.      Knowing of learning mathematics that has been carried out in the classroom.
2.      Knowing the design of the implementation of learning which has been applied.
3.      Know what problems arose in learning.



CHAPTER II
OBSERVATION RESULTS
We did the observations in one of public school in Yogyakarta, namely in public school Adisucipto 2. The primary school lived in Janti, Maguwoharjo, Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Public school Adisucipto 2 located near the airport Adisucipto. The public school Adisucipto have 6 regular classes with the student in the class consist of between 20 to 30 students. In the same school have 14 teachers which include teachers and employees. A class of our observation is of primary school class V. In the class of students there are 27. Teachers who teach the class V named Yogi Hestuaji. Mr Yogi teaching in public school Adisucipto 2 for 1 month, but before that he ever wiyata bakti in Wonosari for 1 year after graduation from PGSD an undergraduate degree. 
Activities in The Class
Mathematics learning at class 5 begins with Mr Yogi greeting and asked news to the students. After Mr Yogi and students greeted one another, the governor asked one of the students in the classroom to lead prayers in front of the class. Finished pray together, Mr Yogi presenced to all students in class. Students were also asked to collect duty that has been given on the previous day. After all the students collect duty at the table of the teachers, he conveys the purpose of learning that day.
Matter of mathematics learning to be learned in the operation that day is discus material fractional count, more particularly on the multiplication of fractions. Mr Yogi invite students to discuss sheets that have worn while mathematical test yesterday. Before he explains material on fractional multiplication, he explains the concept about multiplication fractions advance by using a medium that have been prepared earlier. From the concept of whose upbringing was described, then Mr Yogi given a sample problem sample problem of multiplication fractions and that was discussed in detail by Mr Yogi, from that students can understand the multiplication a fraction with good material.
Mr Yogi wants to see these idea students beforehand about the concept of material multiplication the cracks have been taught formerly by giving a few questions. If there is students who do not understand the material well students were asked to ask Mr Yogi. He gives you some examples about the multiplication of fractions and students are to answer questions which are rendered. Students answer the question given by him by means of advancing to the front of the room and wrote out of the results obtained on the board. If the studets  successfully answer the question then properly given small esteem in the form of applause.
Mr Yogi divided students in class to 4 groups which consists of three to four students. Then Mr Yogi sticking media in a carton containing of cardboard columns and columns about the answer on the board and prepared answers correct in that can put pieces of paper. Teachers and students in the first open about discussing answer questions in the group of teachers presented. They are competing to resolve the problem of beforehand then representatives of the group forward looking for answers on pieces of the teacher have been provided. After representatives of the group found the answer, then tacked on a column of answers in a cardboard media has been provided. Most of the group put the answer is right with group winners and got an award of additional points. Question given Mr. Yogi has different levels of difficulty the first question has an easy level to difficulty level.
Questions have been given to students during lessons between integers was covering with the multiplication of fractions, multiplication between a fraction with fractions, between the multiplication of a mixture with the multiplication of fractions, and the multiplication of fractions a mixture with a fraction of a mixture between. After students finished work on this matter on the operation of the multiplication of fractions, teachers back then explain briefly about learning that has been implemented to ensure that lessons delivered really understood by students. As a follow-up Mr Yogi give some about to do at home.

Equipment to Teaching
A model of learning is used by Mr Yogi inquiry, because while we observe the class of learning mathematics at class V, he looks to lead students can understand the material about fractions, but on the other students also found itself the concept of the multiplication of fractions through a quiz given Mr Yogi.
In the observation, after we observe the process of learning that occurs in the class V Adisucipto 2 , our group concluded that the approach used by Mr Yogi is the approach of scientific rendering. Because the process of learning in class contain five aspects in the approach of scientific rendering that is observing, asking, trying to, think of, and communicate. In the early learning students were asked by Mr Yogi to observe the media about the concept is learning “Multiplication of Fractions Board” with media the multiplication of fractions.
The multiplication of fractions board is made of folded paper and paperboard colour. This media is used by Mr Yogi to help in understanding the material and facilitate students about the multiplication of fractions. In the form of the multiplication of fractions, in the numerator get red folding paper, while the denominator given the green paper folding. This made aimed to ease times a fraction of students in, namely a numerator multiplied by a numerator (numbers in red) in paper folding, multiplied by the denominator of the denominators ( is in a number of paper folding green). Based on observations of our group do in the class V, the media named “The Multiplication of Fractions Board” used really helps students in understanding the material about the multiplication of fractions. Students in working on about given by sir yogi also assisted with the media. Material and device used by  Mr. Yogi to help the learning process of multiplication is a piece of paper that is, markers, a ruler.
The method employed in the process of the talk, integration, and discussions. Initially the teacher explain the matter, the students asked to give chance the quiz show students at the time divided into several categories to discuss answer the quiz by using the method of lectures, integration, and discussion. We concluded that groups of strategies used by teachers are strategies based on the teacher.

Problems of Teaching
In addition, there were several problems faced during mathematics learning took place between others were several students who are still not so understand material multiplication. When Mr Yogi elaborate about fractions there are still some students who crowded own, busy own, and not watching as she explains matter. In addition there are two students who still find it difficult against the concept of fractional, especially when the simplification of fractions. They feel it still needs guidance further information about this material because could be seen from the results of a remedial there had formerly been some students got mark ugly in any material fractions.









CHAPTER III
THE DISCUSSION OF THE RESULTS OBSERVATION
Common responses a learning process that we observed
The strategy of teachers in explaining the multiplication of fractions of the material is very interesting and creative learning with the help of media and the quiz to board the multiplication of students per group. In addition to facilitate students in understanding the material , the media also draw the attention of students to focus on learning although there is 1 or 2 people talking to myself. But, although students were involved in the process of learning, the role of teachers still looks more dominant than the involvement of students. This can happen because students still did not understand with material about the multiplication of fractions, so teachers have to repeat the explanation back repeatedly to students can understand the concept of the multiplication of fractions.
Learning of mathematics that happens when we did the observations that worked pretty well, but still there are several students who still busy own teachers and not watching explanation. Overall in the classroom learning very interactive, this occurred because of the interactions between teachers and students. Students are very enthusiastic following activities in learning, evidenced by many students until the end is still always learning in focus of attention to teachers in describing the material about the multiplication of fractions. Students also feel challenged teachers with questions have been given. This can be seen when students each other a scramble to find the answers provided by teachers and attaching it to board a multiplication are displayed on the board.
Things can Learned From Observation
According to Christina Nunik Puspitasari being a teacher in primary school isn’t easy. Being a teacher need more patience in the face of students who are different. If there are students who still didn’t understand the material, I must also want to explain again until the students understand with good matter of learning. In addition, being a teacher in primary school should also be creative in prepare the media who will wear to explain to students. With the media that interesting, students will be more active in learning and they will be quicker in learning to understand the material well.
According to Vinsensia Daviga things learned as a teacher from observation are cretive, simplicity, and patience which owned by Mr Yogi. The media were made and used by Mr Yogi very simple, but from that the stundent can uderstand about the material. In addition to looking creative also simplicity from the Mr Yogi’s media. The media used not need much money, but the result is maximum. Patience that shown Mr Yogi can be an example to become a teacher. He didn’t get angry when the student not paying attantion. He try to attract in a nice way.
According Rena Christiani from Mr Yogi, I get a lot of valuable experience. Mr Yogi I will inspire a figure of a teacher who very patient. Patience is a simple word that should be owned by teachers. Teach with full of patience will get the result that good enough.Proved by patience Mr Yogi in teaching or conveying matter to their students, the result was satisfactory. The majority of students understand the matter very well and the results of their value was also good. With Mr. Yogi indulgent convey matter repeatedly, reprimand their students who not noticed with soft. Patience Mr Yogi inspiration for me someday if I become a teacher I must also patiently as Mr Yogi.
Before start learning , Mr Yogi also have prepared medium of learning . A medium that provided Mr Yogi is simple enough , however very effective .The students who join learning be helped in understanding matter thanks to a medium that provided by Mr Yogi. Students also be seen in good spirits in following learning activities .Medium be an attraction quite big advantage to students .
In my opinion , things that need to be prepared when other teachers between mental readiness , mastery of the material , and the media .Mental readiness unmannerly needed to make teachers did not deviate , in the way it has an attitude as an educator and teachers .Mental readiness is also needed that teachers capable control of  class with good and responding to the response of students with good. Mastery of the material into this very important to be owned by any teachers. The material presented to students should be understood by the teacher , because when teachers understand the material and material will also be up to the students with good without mistakes the concept of understanding .In addition the media also learning important role in the success of the process of teaching and learning.That students easier to understand the material and not feel bored , the media is the right choice to help. The election of the media must also consider some matter such as conformity media with material to be delivered , the environment and students.
Everything can be measured from the process , therefore proceeds as a candidate educator who good then the result is a good educator .The process will not be betrayed the results.
According to Yohana Rina Kurniasari, One thing is not less important to be added in the process of learning in class is the implementation of the award will be on student achievement or active. Mr Yogi teaches children to give the award despite small, namely providing applause for students who dare to answer questions from teachers and apply a system of points for the students performed well at birth. Students who behave in following all the learning process and able to answer or do this with proper training will receive points. Points are very effective to control a child in being on time following the learning and motivate the students in classes for active and achievement, even compete.
Mr Yogi taught me that the media very belonging in the process of learning, let alone to convey a difficult matter received if only by reading only books. The use of the media in the class will attract the student to study and fishing curiosity them to dare try to solve a problem. It would be better if a teacher preparing the media that is varied in order to bridge for the delivery of material from teachers to the students as well as the tools students to work on a matter of getting the exercises in the class. By doing so, the students will find and build the concept ourselves about a material through the activities of trying to directly uses the media that has been provided by teachers.
I can also imitate way Mr Yogi to turn students in following learning by angling students to dare forward in front of the class. Mr Yogi allow the students that can be doing the to previous question by attaching the right answer in a media learning in front of the class .Students getting are racing to get progress in front of the class that they are earnestly seek to finish practice problem set. About the exercise made by the teacher is about the varying the difficult level to ease in working on students and give the development of significant learning
According Yohanes Sigit Tri Wahyudi from Mr Yogi. Teachers in the language of java have an acronym namely “digugu” and “ditiru”, which means that as a teacher you shall be an example that are good for students later. One day later on i will also to become a teacher, things which may be i learned from Mr. Yogi that our group interviews and his class we have observation is creativity and and patience he in teaching.
In terms of creativity and he really creative in making learning media. Learning that media made Mr. Yogi is a multiplication fractions board the multiplication of fractions it is made from the materials that simple namely by material paperboard and folded paper color as well as the use of a namely scissors glue and the watermark. The simplicity of the materials and a tool used was not reducing function of a board the multiplication of fractions, even with the materials and a tool that this simple media uses it was incredible. Students can easily in understanding the concept simple multiplication because in this in a board to differentiate a numerator and denominator is with folded paper of a different color there are red young and the light blue. Pink to a numerator and the light blue to the denominator, with the existence of differences in the hues are very helpful and make it easier for students in understanding the concept of fractional multiplication.
In terms of the patience he no doubt. This is evidenced when learning in the classroom she was very patient in guiding each student who did not understand the material about the concept of the multiplication of fractions. In guiding the students who did not understand about the concept of the multiplication of fractions, he always repeat the explanation repeatedly to all students can understand the concept of the multiplication of fractions with true. It is really something very special a male teacher can be a patient as he.
            I am Agustinus Nugrahanto , when  I see   Mr.  Yogi as fifth graders teacher , much that could exemplary under him . Patience of  Mr. Yogi in giving matter to her students is very high . Although there are who has not understood , Mr. Yogi are attempting to establish his students understand with matter which he leave them with review the material . In addition, patience of Mr Yogi in conditioning the situation in a class can also be an example .Many times students make crowded in class , but Mr. Yogi does not angry. He always try many times to reminding their students to the tone friendly .Creativity of Mr Yogi can also I use an example for the future to become a teacher . Mr Yogi make a medium that in a way that are nothing but to make their students can understand the subject matter.
Recommendation for Desaign of Learning
In our view of learning which was carried out by mr yogi is strong .The media that is used also is strong , but it would be better if the number of media is reproduced .So that each group of four can operate it .Besides that also material in which work is done can be replaced cardboard rice thicker than cardboard manila. Then place affixed the figures were given hook so as to be easily change the number of cases is. According to a group of us on the media that is used to account for material a fraction more good news uses the media that are contextual or some media that can be found from the surrounding community. It is meant that students better understanding of the material well because it would have had directly.

CHAPTER IV
CLOSING

The early learning that starts with hail , then asked about news, pray, the collection of duty, presensi, conveying the purpose of learning. Discussed the matter of core activities the multiplication of fractions, among other integers between with the multiplication of fractions, multiplication between a fraction with fractions, between the multiplication of a mixture with the multiplication of fractions, and the multiplication of fractions a mixture with a fraction of a mixture between. Covering activities done to mr yogi make a summary of the material, see how far the understanding of material students about the multiplication of fractions and provide follow-up with some about the multiplication of fractions.
Approach used Mr. Yogi in learning is a scientific rendering.The method used is talk, discussion and integration, while learning model used is inquiry.
The problems facing for learning lasting: there is some students still have not so understand material multiplication, there are students who do not pay attention to teachers in explaining a fraction, difficulty in the simplification of fractions.
